The second season of Dance Mums premiered 12 October 2015 on Lifetime. The season finale is set to air on 30 November 2015.

It is highly unlikely that the second season will air outside of the UK due to the first season being removed from scheduling in the US.

When a brand new lead dancer and her mother are introduced to the team, Jennifer's squad members find themselves having to bite their tongues.[5]

Dancer Harry has to leave the group due to school commitments, so Jennifer brings in brand new firecracker Leah Rose and her mother Lisa to take his place.[6]

Jen picks a routine from the Phantom of the Opera as the girls compete in a musical-themed competition, while one dancer gets to star in a Nadia Forde music video.[7]

Charlotte and Sam leave Jen's team and Team DB enters the final competition of the season. Reality series following an elite troupe of young dancers.[10]

Other Information

  • Chloe Snr and Molly were not part of the main team this season. They were replaced with new members Harry and Leah Rose. Chloe Snr did however make a guest appearance.
  • The dancer that is on top of the pyramid and their mum received tiaras to wear for the week this season.
  • This season had an average viewing rate of around 114,125. This was a 5,292 increase from last season.
  • A third season of the show is being considered but is not yet guaranteed.
